A registered building practitioner. We hold Building and Plumbing Commission registration CDB-U 53425 with professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
Your contract drawings and engineering first, then AS 2870 for footings and slabs, AS 1684 for framing, AS 3740 for wet areas, AS 4349.1 for purchases, the NCC and the Guide to Standards and Tolerances 2015.
It can be. The Werribee Plains carry basalt derived clays that shrink and swell with moisture, which is why your soil report and the engineer's slab design matter so much. We check the slab against that design before the pour.
Slab pre-pour, frame and the pre-handover inspection. The first two are your only look at work that is buried, and the last is your final chance to list items before you accept the house.

Please do come. The inspector can show you each item and explain what the builder needs to do about it.
Each finding names the plan detail, clause or tolerance it fails, so the conversation is about a measurement. If it stalls, call the inspector.
Yes. A reinspection works through the original list item by item and records what has been fixed and what is still open.
